The Criminal Investigations Division is comprised of several investigators all of whom have completed training specific to conducting criminal investigations. Recently, Sheriff Rollins was able to dedicate personnel to specific areas of investigations. While all investigators of the Criminal Investigations Division are able to investigate any crime that is alleged to have occurred within Harnett County, the division has recently been subdivided into Major Crimes Division, Special Victims Division, Fraud Division and Property Crimes Division.
