The Harnett County Sheriff’s Office participated in the “shop with a cop” event sponsored by Harnett County Think Smart Outreach Center on Saturday December 12^th 2009. Corporal Charles Peele, Deputy Lisa Spencer, Sergeant Aaron Meredith, Investigator Dallas Pastirik and Investigator Justin Toler participated. Each was assigned a child or family and assisted them in shopping at Wal-mart for Christmas presents and toys. The participants enjoyed breakfast at Think Smart Outreach Center and also spent some time with Santa Claus! Little did they know that the time spent with them was actually a Christmas present to us!
