Sheriff Rollins has recently dedicated Margaret Meredith as the sex offender registrar for the sex offender unit. Mrs. Meredith's direct line is 910-814-3472.

All registrations must be made in person at the Harnett County Sheriff's Office, 1005 Edwards Drive, Lillington, N.C. 27546, and should be done between the hours of 8:30 am and 4:00 pm Monday through Friday.

Individuals are required to register for a variety of convictions and they are also required in many cases to transfer their registry from one state to the next. The current database of registered sex offenders is maintained by the State Bureau of Investigation.
